HI there!! Are you curious about how your camera settings and features actually work?
Do you ever wonder what the difference is between aperture and shutter speed, or how ISO affects your photos?
This blog series is all about diving deep into the world of camera settings through fun, hands-on experiments to ascertain their functions and how they interact with each other to not only produce perfectly exposed photographs, but also how they create some common issues when used incorrectly. Venturing out into the field, I shall be putting these different settings and features to collect these results.
I'll be exploring the effects of aperture on depth of field and sharpness, playing with shutter speeds to freeze motion or create blur, and I'll be pushing the limits of ISO in low-light situations.
I'll be using everyday objects and situations to showcase how these settings affect photos and how they can transform images into something more creative and unique.
Along the way, I'll be sharing my findings and of course my photographs. These will be accompanied by concise explanations in the hopes that someone else can learn from my experiments.
By the end of this series, I hope to not only know what these settings do, but to also feel confident in using them to achieve the creative vision I have in mind.
Join me on this exciting adventure into the world of camera settings! Stay tuned for our first experiment coming soon!
